The Bulverde/Spring Branch Area Chamber of Commerce Leadership Program will begin classes on September 1, 2010.
A quote from one of the former members of the class summarizes the meaning of the Leadership Program:
“The knowledge gained regarding the infrastructure of our Government at the different levels has been invaluable. Exploring Economic Development, Health and Social Services, Education, City Services, and the Leadership courses were mind opening. All business persons in our community should embrace this opportunity to broaden their horizons, through knowledge, sharing and camaraderie”.
JOIN THE LEADERSHIP CLASS FOR 2010 AND BE A PART OF A BETTER UNDERSTANDING OF THE NEEDS AND STRENGTHS OF OUR COMMUNITY.
Applications are available below. Deadline for registration is August 26, 2010. A minimal cost of $350.00 is required which includes meals, materials and transportation. Classes will be held the first Wednesday of each month, September through May.
Leadership Bulverde-Spring Branch is an ongoing annual program of the Bulverde-Spring Branch Area Chamber of Commerce. It provides education and leadership development for a selected group of civic-minded individuals over a nine-month period. Participants are required to attend nine monthly full-day classes to graduate. Each class day focuses on a topic of current community interest, often including a tour, as well as the development of a personal skill critical for effective community leadership.
Leadership Bulverde-Spring Branch shall provide individuals the opportunity to develop the skills and relationships to be more effective leaders in our community.
