Networking

Creating new connections is often why business leaders and community members join the Chamber of Commerce which is why it is so important for us to offer members access plenty of chances to network with other professionals.

Member-to-member networking offers a plethora of benefits including increased visibility within the community, connecting with other business owners (within as well as outside of your industry), and giving a boost to word-of-mouth referrals.

Whether you participate in one or in all, ask yourself, isn't it time to start connecting yourself to fellow community leaders and trend-setters?

Coffee with the Chamber

Networking is a great way to grow your business contacts.  Get your day started off with a bang by joining us at the Monthly Coffee with the Chamber.  After 30 minutes of networking, we bring in different elected officials from the city, county and state levels to update the membership on current events and activities or a speaker that can share knowledge about development or growth in the area.

Be ready to provide your best 10 second introduction as we go around the room and invite everyone to participate.

The Coffee with the Chamber is held the 2nd Wednesday of each month with networking starting at 7:30 am and the program starting at 8 am.  Average attendance is 45 - 60.

Power Lunch

The Power Lunch provides Chamber investors and the general public with an opportunity to stay informed on issues relevant to our business community with a featured speaker or forum. It also provides an opportunity to enhance connections among the business community.

Business Networking Mixer

At the Business Networking Mixer attendees are able to wind-down after work in a relaxed environment and enjoy networking with fellow chamber members.

We strongly believe engaging and connecting members helps strengthen the business climate and opportunity to promote, stimulate and improve growth in our community. Members enjoy beverages, hors d'voruevers, door prizes, and an informal setting to meet, mingle and make contacts!

Networking games and a monthly Membership Drawing are applied throughout the year at this fun, relaxed networking event.

The Business Networking Mixer occurs every 4th Thursday of the month from 5:30 -7:30 pm and draws 50-75 attendees each time.

Veterans Networking Breakfast

The Veterans Council, via the BSB Foundation, Inc.,  invites all veterans to bring a wingman, a battle buddy or a veteran-friendly business professional with you to breakfast.

This group meets on the 3rd Friday of each month from 7:30 to 9 am at Ay Chiwawa! Mexican Cafe.  Each breakfast will have a speaker that will address areas of interest to veterans in our community.

It is a time to meet other veterans in the area and help build a community of individuals that can support each other.
