Public Service Events

The Bulverde Spring Branch Chamber of Commerce and its numerous volunteers and business partners provides professional services to the community via multiple public service events throughout the year to benefit the residents of our area.

The Chamber team is made up of dedicated and passionate leaders, volunteers and those committed to creating a service-based community where we can all be there for each other. We represent the communities we serve. For this team, this isn’t just a workplace–this is our home.

Community Shred Day

The average office uses over 15,000 sheets of copy paper every year from financial reports to performance reviews with a lot of that paper ending up in waste cans and recycling bins. In the wrong hands, confidential information can lead to fraud and identity theft leaving the business to clean up the mess.
Bring in your sensitive documents to be shredded on the spot by Ranger Shredding and free up your space for more important things.
Chamber members may bring in up to 20 "bankers" boxes of material FREE of charge and Non-Chamber members may bring up to 10 "bankers" boxes for $5/box - pricing subject to change.
Thank you to our sponsors, volunteers, Comal ISD, and community members that participate in this event.

DEA Drug Take Back Day

The drug overdose epidemic in the United States is a clear and present public health, public safety, and national security threat. DEA’s National Prescription Drug Take Back Day reflects DEA’s commitment to Americans’ safety and health, encouraging the public to remove unneeded medications from their homes as a measure of preventing medication misuse and opioid addiction from ever starting.
DEA is committed to making our communities safer and healthier, and we can do this by reducing overdoses and overdose deaths. While the community does its part to turn in unneeded medications and remove them from potential harm, we are doing our part to further reduce drug-related violence.
THIS IS A NO-CHARGE EVENT FOR THE ENTIRE COMMUNITY.
The Bulverde Spring Branch Chamber has partnered with sponsors, volunteers, the Bulverde Police Department and the Comal County Sheriff's Office to host the DEA Drug Take Back Day event.

Community Big Trash Day

Once a year, residents from Western Comal County may bring in bulk items that are too large for your trash can, such as dishwashers, lawnmowers, old televisions and mattresses, to be disposed of for a selected fee.

Have you started your spring cleaning? Did you knock out an improvement project this winter? Either way, if you have a little extra junk, the Big Trash Day is the perfect way to discard of those unwanted items that have been laying around.
